About Novaro and the connecting layer
What exactly does NOVARO do?
NOVARO builds the connecting layer between the systems you already use. Instead of replacing your software, we connect your systems, so data, documents and decisions move through your organisation as one secured, automated flow. The work spans applied AI, cybersecurity and intelligent automation.
Do we have to replace our existing software?
No, that is precisely the point. Your systems carry years of investment and organisational knowledge. We add intelligence between your packages instead of ripping them out. What you already have keeps paying off, while the connecting layer on top adds more and more value.
Where do I start with AI in my organisation?
Start with insight, not with tools. Every engagement at NOVARO opens with a focused scan and a measurable baseline. You choose from four scans and leave with a maturity measurement, a prioritised overview of opportunities and risks, and a phased roadmap with clear owners.
Is the connecting layer secure?
Security is built in from the first connection, never bolted on afterwards. Every connection gets least-privilege access, encryption and an audit trail. That way the bridges we build can never become backdoors; trust travels with your data.
Which systems can NOVARO connect?
We are deliberately platform-neutral and integrate with the systems your organisation already uses, including SAP, Salesforce, Microsoft, Oracle, ServiceNow, Workday, Snowflake, AWS and Google Cloud. If your teams use it, we can almost certainly connect it.
Can AI work without American cloud providers?
Yes. There are mature European alternatives such as Mistral AI, Aleph Alpha and the Dutch GPT-NL, alongside open models you host in your own environment. That keeps your data and your language models under European control, GDPR-proof. We advise honestly when a mainstream service is the better choice after all.
Which sectors does NOVARO work in?
We are domain-neutral. The discipline never changes: connect what you use, secure it, automate it. The shape is that of your sector. We work across nine sectors, from professional services and manufacturing to healthcare, government, financial services and logistics, from SME to enterprise.
About the scan engagement
How long does a scan take?
About three weeks from kickoff to report. You get the findings presented live, not just as a PDF in your inbox, so the roadmap lands with the people who will own it.
What does it ask of my team?
Two working sessions and read access to the systems in scope. That is all we ask. No weeks of workshops: your team keeps running the business while we do the digging.
What happens after I send a request?
You receive a confirmation by e-mail, we schedule a 30-minute intake call to sharpen the question, and then the scan starts. From first conversation to kickoff usually takes less than a week.
Am I committed to anything?
No. A scan is a self-contained engagement at a fixed fee, no surprises. The report and the roadmap are yours either way; whether we help with the execution afterwards is a separate, free choice.
What exactly do I get?
A maturity measurement benchmarked against comparable organisations, a clear overview of opportunities and risks, prioritised recommendations ranked by impact, and a pragmatic, phased roadmap with owners.
About Novaro Compliance
What is Novaro Compliance?
Novaro Compliance automatically determines which laws and regulations apply to your organisation, per EU country, and translates that into concrete controls, tasks and evidence. One implemented measure immediately counts towards every standard it appears in. The platform is in active development.
Who is it for?
Initially for Dutch and European B2B organisations of roughly 20 to 250 employees, with role-based views for the board, compliance officers, CISOs, IT managers, HR/procurement and auditors.
Which laws and standards does it support?
NIS2, DORA, ISO 27001, the GDPR and the AI Act are on the roadmap as fully mapped frameworks; the first release focuses on NIS2, ISO 27001 and the GDPR.
Can an auditor get access to the platform too?
Yes. Auditors get a read-only role with access to evidence and reports, so audits happen without folder chaos.
Where is my data stored, and how is it secured?
The environment runs on European infrastructure (an EU-based VPS). Every client organisation is separated from the others at the database level (row-level security per tenant). Login goes through Novaro's own identity environment, with encrypted connections and secured sessions, and no third-party social login.
Does Novaro staff have access to my data?
Only on explicit request, temporarily, with a reason and an end date, and always logged under the name of the employee involved. No permanent or unlogged access.
Can I use the platform already?
It is being built with a select group of launching partners. Interested as a future user, auditor or partner? Get in touch.
